What I am reading

Been a little MIA this week. My schedule is off. And, I have a post that I am perculating and really, really want to write and need to take the time to give it justice. But I am still reading:

The library just got in most of the Sherrilyn Kenyon Darkhunter books. Easy, fun reads that do not tax my brain. Fun people, great sex and an interesting storyline. I have read five or six of these. My booklist is not up to date. Big surprise, right?

I am reading Dark Lover by JR Ward. And, it is really, really good. More amazing bad/good guys. Sex, of course and this one has an even more interesting storyline than the Darkhunters books. I would say both of these authors are better written than Laurell Hamilton’s Anita Blake series.

My bedtime read is Unquiet by John Connolly. Which should not be my bedtime read. His stories are always scary. The fun thing is they are set in and around Southern Maine. It is interesting to read a story and know the setting. Not sure when he wrote the book but at least two places have closed since he wrote it. All of the books I have read by him have taken place here and he lives in Ireland. The women he is trying to save lives at Willard Beach. Which has been in the news, recently. A bunch of teens are terrorizing the neighbors at night. Willard beach is my least favorite area. The view is of the oil tankers in the harbor.
