Totally dirty indeed…yet, I can never figure out why they are such a delicacy in the grocery store! Buying cheese and mushrooms and sour cream in the same shopping trip would make any normal human being question our sanity….yet it’s something we do all the time!

That’s a good shot and works well with the dirty theme. I love mushrooms but they are usually pretty dirty growing here and there. I get mine in the grocery store and still spend time washing them.

It depends on the type of mushroom. Some are very yummy! But since they are grown in dirt, I guess they are as dirty as any other plant!
