I finished another book for the Summer Reading Challenge:
Wild Indigo by Sandi Ault. I loved the information on the Pueblo Indians and the relationship she has with Mountain, her wolf, is interesting. The mystery did not quite cut it for me. Lots of odd or non exisistent character development. If I was not so intrigued by the Wolf and the Shamanism I would have taken it back to the library unfinished.
I got an email from Liz of Reviewed by Liz and host of the SRC. I won a book!!!! Very cool. I was so surprised to see her email in my box. She gave me a choice of six or seven books. All of them from authors I have not read yet. I picked Circle of Assasians. Thanks, Liz!
I have made the painful decision to not go to the library for awhile. I have about 10 library books currently on my nightstand. I don’t have enough time to read them in two weeks and keep up with class. I have decided that once these books are done I am banning myself from the library. Not like I don’t have enough bags and boxes of books to keep busy, right? You remember these pictures, don’t you? Plenty of reading material to keep me going. I think I am getting an allergeric reaction from just thinking about not going to the library. I love that place!
Ha,ha.. I know what you mean about banning yourself from the library. It’s hard for me as I pass by it every day!
Congrats on your book win! Are you done with the mystery challenge yet? I can’t remember if you said you were. That’s probably the only challenge I’m not doing too bad on. Just need 3 more books.
