These are the flowers I gave to my husband.
Today is my 15th Anniversary. Here are 13 things about my guy.
1. This is one of my favorite pictures. Taken about five years ago at Fort Williams:
2. Here are my kids now. My son is 14 and the twins are 11. We made beautiful kids.
I was trying for a nice picture of the kids and got this shot that I like better. It is fun to play with black and white.
3. I met my husband during the summer of 1990. He came up to work and be a partner at a seafood company. The first time I saw him he stopped by breathe. He has the longest legs ever. And, with work boots on he is about 6’6. He still takes my breathe away.
4. On our first date he made me dinner and fed me strawberries. Sigh.
5. We found out right before we were married that I was pregnant. He was so excited.
6. When my sister was in the car accident (three months after we married) we took care of my niece. He stepped right up and was there all the way. Loving her like she was his own. In the end it worked out that my mother adopted my niece. But, if that hadn’t happened he would have adopted her in a heartbeat. As it is, we have made family decisions based on four kids for all the time we have been married. We have played a major role in my niece’s life. And, fully expect that we may be grandparents to her kids.
7. He hugs and loves his kids up everyday. They will always know how much he loves them.
8. He works so hard for us. I am hoping that he catches a break soon and can do something he loves.
9. He loves me more than I can describe.
10. He also drives me crazy, more than I can describe LOL!
11. He is a car junkie. He has restored two cars since we have been together. And, he has a Chevelle 454 in the works. I hope it can come home soon, so he can work on it more often. I swear he is happiest covered in oil and surrounded by car parts. When he talks cars he twinkles.
12. He is so handy. He has redone the whole inside of our house. You name it he can do it.
13. I was thinking of him when I was walking on the beach and spotted this:

What a nice blog and that was a very touching list. I love the part about how he twinkles around cars. That sounds like my hubby . . . talking about or showing me his latest Dale Earnhardt acquisition. Jeez, I never knew there were so many things to put a 3 on!
