I haven’t read any of these either…heard of a couple…hope to see The Deaprted very soon. It’s supposed to be just about perfect.
Oh wait…I see that the Wire was a winner. The Wire is the BEST show on tv…if you like crime and urban drama…check it out on dvd. If even a fraction of their storylines and politics are true no wonder the world is crazy.
Nope… not heard of them. I think I am going to the bookstore this weekend so maybe I’ll see one of them and look a little closer.
Haven’t read any of the winning books. I’ll have to take the list to my mystery group and maybe it’ll help us with our selections for the rest of the year.
I haven’t read any of those either, Nancy, though I have read a few novels by some of the folk who contributed towards the scriptwriting of The Wire.
When do we get to see some pictures from your new camera? I’m eagerly waiting!
oops. I didn’t see yesterday’s post, Nancy. Nice bag for your camera!
The only one I’ve heard of is Lehane (love his books)–and I didn’t even know he wrote for TV. I guess I’ll have to put The Wire in my Netflix queue.
havent read any or heard of any of the forementioned books. Let us know if you read any good ones. BTW-beautiful sunset!
Besides the Wire, I have never heard of any of these either.
