Nothing too heavy today. Just thirteen concerts I have been too. In no particular order:
- Rolling Stones, Foxboro: Me and 60,000 at the first last concert ever.
- Twisted Sister, Burlington, VT
- Ratt, Burlington, VT
- AC/DC, Portland, ME. WHo Made Who tour: The boyfriend bought me tickets for my bday. We fought thru the whole concert.
- Bon Jovi/Skid Row, Worcester, MA: So much fun.
- Robert Plant/Alannah Myles, Portland, ME: THe place was PACKED! ANd, all the guys were stunned by how hot Alannah was in her leather cat suit. Robert Plant was AMAZING! The closet thing I will get to see Zeppelin in concert.
- Sarah McLachlan, Portland, ME: Amazing.
- IronMaiden, Portland, ME: Headbanging in a mostly empty Civic Center.
- Whitesnake, Whitesnake, Whitesnake, Portland, ME: My girlfriend kept winning tickets and we kept going.
- Melissa Etheridge, twice, Portland, ME: The first time was the best. SHe played at City Hall and we had front row seats.
- Natalie Merchant, Portland, ME: SO much fun.
- Peter Frampton, Portland, ME: THis past summer.
- Loverboy, OOB, ME: A very long time ago. Dokken opened for them and I liked them better than LoverBoy.

Wow. Very cool. I’ve hardly been to any concerts: Queen/Thin Lizzy when I was a teenager, and then Trans Siberian Orchestra a couple of times before we moved.
I don’t think I’ve been to 13 concerts in my life! I’m jealous of the Robert Plant one, though

I only saw one on your list. Robert Plant when he was with Led Zepplin about 4 times! Here’s some of mine: Jonie Mitchell, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, Sly and the Family Stone… I’ll be thinking up more all day!

I’m jealous.. and I still love Whitesnake.
Those are pretty big bands for Burlington, Nancy. Were they playing at the college? The biggest concert I’ve been to was Van Halen back around 1980 when Roth was still fronting for them. It was in San Antonio Texas.
I haven’t been to many concerts either. I have seen Stryper (don’t laugh…lol) and Alanis. Every summer Milwaukee has a music festival called Summerfest. It is said to be the largest music festival in the world. They have many free stages those are usually “has beens” and the “up & comers”. I have seen a few that way — Skynard, Kenny Loggins, and Ringo Starr. There are a few others I can’t recall at the moment.

Oh wow - am familiar with all the artists/groups that you mention on your list and I love them too! Sadly I never been to any concert…in my boring life

I adore Sarah McLachlan in concert. The smaller the venue, the better. I had second row seats to a small auditorium concert she held back in 1993 and it far surpassed seeing her in a much larger setting years later.
