Ghost Rider

Well, the kids loved it.  It could have been so much better.

What drove me crazy, the most, was Nicholas Cage’s accent.  As a kid, Johnny Blaze did not have an accent.  Fast forward to Nicholas Cage, as Johnny Blaze,  and he has this weird smarmy southern thing going on.  Then all of a sudden he is talking without the accent.  Which was 100% more enjoyable. It was like he was trying too hard w. the charecter.

And, Eve Mendes   Could you put on some clothes that are a few sizes bigger.  I thought all the outfits made her look fat.  And, her lips were all weird in this movie. But, again if you are a 14 yo boy, you loved it.

And, those boys would not to to sleep Sat. night.  I had to talk to them 3 times.  The last time I threatned to seperate them if they kept talking.  They FINALLY, went to sleep at 3 AM!  It would not have been quite so bad, but they took over the living room.  My bedroom is right below the living room.  I heard every thump and bump.  By, 3:00 AM I would have given any evil being a run for their money….I was U G L Y!

Lack of sleep made me useless yesterday.  Today, I am back on track after a L O N G nap and 10 hours of sleep last night.

Ghost Rider

He did look cool, I will give him that!

Nick and Zed saw this over the weekend. Zed liked it, Nick thought it was blah. Elle and I saw Bridge to Terabithia. I loved it.

I’m experiencing memories of my own boyhood movie experiences. And I’m massively embarrassed to admit that I actually paid to see some of them.

Thankfully, boys grow up into men.

Wait, maybe that’s not a thankful thing…

I’ll stop now.
