I had a cold last week that spiraled into a sinus head thing. My headache was so bad yesterday, that I could not even read. Today, I am so much better and on my way to recovery!
Snow is expected this week. And, they seem fairly certain that we are going to get a Nor’easter. Can you imagine being in New York w. that lake effect snow. What did they get Seven feet of snow in two days or something.
I was glad to hear that the Dixie Chicks won some Grammy’s. Woo-Hoo!

I grew up near Lake Placid, NY and went to school not far from the area that’s been inundated this past week with snow. I can’t imagine getting 10 feet of snow anymore, Nancy. It’s an insane amount though I experienced amounts similar to that when I was a small kid.
I’m glad you’re feeling better. I often park my nose above a humidifier for 5 minutes or so when my sinuses are acting up. The heat and humidity help quite a bit though sometimes it takes a few applications of steam before the passages open up.
Us folks from Texas can’t even imagine that much snow!

I was disappointed in the Grammys last night. I like country music, but the Dixie Chicks are not one of my more favorite bands. I didn’t think their song was so great compared to some of the other nominees. I was also horrified to see Rascal Flatts doing two Eagles songs. It’s bad enough that they redid “Life is a Highway”. Leave the Eagles alone. They’re too classic!

I would die if I was in that area. We get our share of lake effect snow from both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, and it’s not real fun, unless everyone is home and safe. Now they’re predicting at least a foot of snow starting tonight at 5 and ending some time TOMORROW. BLEH!
