Thursday Thirteen: #48

Thursday, February 8th 2007

1. Happy Birthday, First Born!  He is fourteen today.  He got up at 6:00 am to open his gift from his Gram.  An ipod.  Woo-Hoo! To know more about the son you can see this post, and a poem he wrote last year.

2. Have you seen The Secret   I watched it the other night w. my son.

3. The movie talks about the Law of Attraction.  We are all magnets and we can attract good things or bad things.

4.  This was not new information for me.  But it was presented in a way I have not thought of before.

5. We are  God and Goddess of our Universe.  We are the Creator and have created everything that is happening in our lives.

6. Do you like what you Universe looks and feels like No Change it.

7. You all know our business has been slow.  We have been so focused on the lack of snow and business being bad, that it is.

8. Yesterday, I focused on having more cash than bills in all areas of my life.  AND, that snow has no bearing on if we have sales at work.  We are succesful in spite of the weather.

9.  My son told his father this same info. And, we got him to change his thinking. Focus on the positive of what you want.

10. Know what happened   We had a HUGE sale go through. That will save our bacon for another few days.

11. You may think “Oh Jeez, I have such bad feelings about such and such and have for years.”  The amazing thing is that positive thinking is infinitely more powerful than negative thinking.  You can easily wipe out those negative thoughts.

12.  Get clear on what you want.  Think it, feel it, see it, believe it  and the Universe will create opportunities for you to suceed. And, when those opportunities come your way, SEIZE THEM!

13. Rah, Rah, Rah, Shwish, Boom, Bah!  I am your bloggy cheerleader telling you that you can create the Life you want!

This weeks quote:

“I do not have to think that thought.” ~~ Rolling Thunder

I remembered to participate this week!

I’m so glad that you’ve had a big sale go through, I hope it’ll alleviate that pressure long enough so you can breathe. -)

I saw The Secret about a week ago and loved it. The Law of Attraction wasn’t new to me either but the presentation was like an innoculation which rededicated me to the idea!

My 13 melt in your mouth.

We are SO on the same wavelength!! I ordered the audiobook of The Secret and another book and was thinking that I might make my TT about the LoA and then I come here and see you’re doing the same thing! Woo Hoo!

I think I will still do that as an adjunct to yours and link back.

Have a good Saturday - I love your dream of our tea party! )

I just bought The Secret last night. My mom has a copy and she, my dad and my sister are all reading it. From what they’ve been telling me, it is working for them. My mom told me that it is changing her life - the way she thinks, what she feels, and what she wishes to project in her life.

I’m so happy that it worked for you, too!! From what I know about the book, it makes a lot of sense. Like attracts like. And as the saying goes - misery loves company. So my goal is to remain positive and work hard on being optimistic.

Thanks for being our cheerleader, Nancy! I really enjoyed reading this post. )
