1. I cam to work this morning and four people are out sick. UH-OH! And, of the four of us here today two don’t feel that well.
2. Saturday I am using all my gift certificates for the spa. I will be there for 3 hours being pampered. A hot stone massage and a facial are in the works.
3. I am still waiting! The job, the school…..I am not a very patient person.
4. We should finally get snow on Monday. They say maybe, hopefully “significant”.
5. I am reading The Wisdom of Menopause by Christine Northrup. I think everyone should read this. The first chapter described EVERY women I know.
6. My husband is not to thrilled at the thought me going through the CHANGE! I told him it does not have to be awful. Right now it’s awful because of all the stress we are under.
7. Speaking of stress: My husband’s blood pressure is thru the roof and he has to go on mediacation. This business we are in is really affecting our health.
8. I had a good day at the Library. I picked up Labryinth (but I am not so sure I am ready for another Jesus/Mary/Holy Grail/France novel), Candles Burning by Tabitha King and Michael McDowell, Grave Surprise by Charlaine Harris (fun! The lead charecter was struck by lightning and now can find dead people. I really like this authors Sookie Stackhouse series.)
9. Do you like the new theme Most of the kinks are ironed out. I have to get used to the sidebar being on the left, now.
UPDATE: It seems to be having a freak out moment right now. UGH! I spoke too soon.
10. I would really like this to be a more inspiring thirteen. Just not that inspired right now.
11. Since I am not inspired, tell me what’s inspiring you
12. Hey! I did sleep through the night last night. FINALLY!
13. Looks like Leanne has been playing over at the T13 hub and there are lots of new goodies to see.
The purpose of Thursday Thirteen is to meet new friends and spread some comment love. Go over to all things Thirteen to see who is playing.

I had to read the page in the dark. I highlighted the words. The sky inspires me when I rememeber to look at it. I wouldn’t go anywhere without the herb don qua. You can read about it in Christine’s book. My favorite book on menopause is Susun Weed’s one.
I like! Aside from the whole nav bar not being there
Happy TT
I hope you manage to not get whatever it is that’s going around your office. Fun List.
I hope you don’t get sick, Nancy. Think positive thoughts!
On my build of Firefox the background for your blog doesn’t showup anymore. But the print is still legible…
Hey! Your theme looks nice in IE6, but yeah, it breaks in Firefox. I think Colleen is a Mac girl, so I think that’s an Opera browser? (Can’t be sure on that one). It’s pretty though.
I do hope you don’t get this virus. It’s really not a happy one, and lasts a few days. Iew.
I am inspired, but I can’t tell you by what. Maybe it’s just the whole John Mayer with the Peanut butter slathered knives thing.
xoxo
I’ve read Labryinth, no worries it being that kind of book. Though the theology is screwy, it’s still a fun book.
What a nice new look! Hang in there and hopefully good news soon on the job front. Sorry your hubby is having to take blood pressure pills. Maybe he needs meditation and yoga. Anyway, don’t get sick!
I love the new theme!
And I can personally reccomend and whole heartedly back a hot stone massage, brillant!
Music always inspires me, at least to get out of bed
I hope you don’t get sick!
My hubby is on high blood pressure meds as well.
I am glad you got your rest last night.
Have a wonderful Thursday
My TT is posted
Hi Nancy - Pretty theme (well, in IE anyway)! So glad you managed to get some sleep; makes a huge difference in the way the world looks, eh?
Here’s hoping for more tranquil business waters for you and your husband in the coming year. Unfortunately, I can emphathize with work/money stress thanks to extensive first-hand experience. I’m keeping my fingers and ears crossed for good news re: your job interview! I hope it’s a job you can feel very, very excited about.
Today I read reviews from the 2006 NYC marathon, getting me inspired for the 2007 race. Happy TT.
Inspiring? Maybe not…but right now I am reading Brainiac by Ken Jennings (the record breaking Jeopardy champ) and it is full of trivia and stuff about trivia…so, while not inspiring….it is definitely entertaining.
