After a quiet weekend, I am back at work. Blech!
I finished The Templar Legacy. Very similar to the other books out now on the subject. This also takes place mostly in France. The one thing that he adds is the idea that Jesus was not resurrected. And, that is the information the Templars had and used to become so sucessful. He does note at the end of the book, what is real and what he made up. I only picked this book up because it was sitting on the shelf at the library. Entertaining, but not earth shattering.
I heard on the Today show that Americans will spend 2.1 billion on Christmas. To me, this is just insanity. I am “BAH HUMBUG” right now…..I wish we could just skip it and all the hype this year. Really, don’t you have all the STUFF you need I just imagine what would happen it we donated even half to those who really need it….
I think it would be nice if Christmas presents were only given to young kids, Nancy. I find it silly to give presents and receive them from other adults. Or maybe only handmade gifts to adults so at least it’d be personal. Anyway….
Sorry, I love the giving of gifts just as much as the getting. The smile that Mrs Duck gets is just too priceless for words.
