Yep, you read it right. My son has a virus. I am very grateful he doesn’t have something worse. My mind was going to really bad places and I was so worried he had something really, really bad. Apparently, this happens to kids a lot. They get sick and the virus just sticks in their intestines, even though everyone else feels better in 24 hours or so.
Just to re-cap, he had the following:
x-ray of abdomen, bloodwork for allergies (takes 2 weeks and this may show something else, so we are waiting on this), MRI (for spina bifida occulta, which the professionals are saying nothing about. It was fine according to them.), extensive blood panel (all great), meet w. pediatric gastro.
How many dollars is this
Anyway, I will be working w. the Chiropracter regarding his back and the allergy bloodwork. It is alway interesting to see what the medical establishment says is ok compared to what alternative medicine says is ok.
Right now I can breathe and am just thankful that he will be ok.
My daughter says her stomach hurts now. Let’s hope it is not this.
I have one healthy kid right now.

I hope he’s feeling better soon. How did it go with your husband? Is he any closer to having a diagnosis?
I emailed you a copy of my book (BTW).
What an ordeal! I hope he feels much better soon. Keeping fingers crossed your daughter doesn’t have it now!
yikes! Glad it’s not more serious. Hugs to him!
