Workers dye the Chicago River green as part of the city’s annual St. Patrick’s day celebrations in Chicago March 11, 2006.
The weekend was crazy busy. All my kids went to a birthday party and one of my daughters fell down and hurt her wrist. We had to go to the emergency room and have x-rays. She didn’t break it but it is severly sprained. I took her to the chiropracter yesterday and the doctor could not even adjust her wrist due to the swelling. I will be doing a gentle reflexology session on her hand, afterschool. Of course it is her right hand and she cannot write. Her twin did the writing part of her homework last night. I wonder how long J will like helping E. Last week J got mad and E and moved out of their room and into the guest room.
DH got his blood tests back and everything looks good. He still has to have a stress test. Right now he is a pain in my ass. I think he has PMS, and I am not participating with him.
I saw Mrs. Henderson Presents last night. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The script was quick and funny and there were some surprises that I was not expecting.
I am reading The Historian and totally enjoying it. But, I have to read every sentence or I get lost very quickly. I better get going, though, I have to return it to the library next week.
Did you know today is Einstein’s birthday Yep it is. Some quotes by him:

Although I know they do this, not being from IL originally I have never actually saw the river while it was green. How long does it stay green??
Hope your daughter’s wrist heels quickly! And, I love those Einstein quotes. Now I really want to go see Mrs. Henderson Presents.
As someone who lives near Chicago, I’ve often wanted to see the green river on St. Pat’s day. However, St. Pat’s day is one of my least favorite holidays. There are too many loud and obnoxious drunks out there are the crack of dawn.
LOLOLOLOL!!!! - “Right now he is a pain in my ass. I think he has PMS, and I am not participating with him.”
I am feeling the same way about mine at this very moment!!! Your statement made me feel like I was not alone in the world. You gave me my first laugh of the day. Thanks, Nancy
I think I’ve read somewhere that the hormones giving us such PMS swings, ups and downs, are the same hormones that are ALWAYS up for men. Please, someone correct me if I’m wrong, it’s very possible. But if true, would that mean that men LIVE with PMS, day in and day out?
I’ll be very curious to see how you like the book, Nancy. I read it last summer and was VERY impressed with her writing skills. As for the book as a whole–well, you’ll see!
