Word of the Day

I have been feeling:

sad
depressed
anger
un-happy
joy-less
overwhelmed

Seems like it is going around. The word that I like the best to describe my mood is “Melancholy”. Isn’t that a great word:

Pensive reflection or contemplation.
Archaic.
Black bile.
An emotional state characterized by sullenness and outbreaks of violent anger, believed to arise from black bile.

I have not had any sudden outbursts of anger. That would take too much energy. And, as far as I know, no black bile. But one never knows.

I do have to go to the doctors this afternoon for my buttock issue. It is starting to hurt more than it should and I won’t go into the gross details, but I will say it fucking sucks!

We are in a temporary cash crunch (again, this fucking sucks). We were supposed to get a Nor’easter tomorrow and now it is going out to sea.

Honestly, if I have to live in the Northeast I want snow. I can’t even snowshoe.

My mother called last nite to share some news. My niece went skiing w. her class and one of her classmates hit their head on a rock and died. Yep, this fucking sucks in a major way. It is so sad he was like 15 or 16 years old. He was not wearing a helmet.

So todays words of the day are MELANCHOLY and FUCKING SUCKS!
