As I was dropping the twins off to camp this morning, they told me someone from the town came by yesterday. Before, they could even tell me why he came by, I was feaking because that meant: THEY OPENED THE DOOR TO A STRANGER! (Can u feel the panic!)
We have specific rules when they are home alone: don’t answer door or phone, no running etc… The Biggest rule is don’t answer the door for obvious reasons.
I was like: WHy the hell are you opening the door
We didn’t Brother did.
Nice, great, Brother who is MR. Attitude lately. He is getting to the “nothing can hurt me age” and I am like “everything can hurt you at this age!”
I feel physically ill at the thought of this and what could have happened. I could have come home to a disaster. I thank the Goddess my kids are safe.
So, I will be leaving work early from now on…..
All I can think of is what Oprah said yesterday: first its a pebble, then a rock, then a brick upside the head, then a wall falls on you and a disaster cuz you were’nt listening.
So, I am telling the UNIVERSE now: I’m Listening!
I felt like Demon Mommy this morning, now I am PANIC MOM! I will take CRAZED anyday of the week!

I feel your fear! We keep discussing when Mr. B can be left home alone and the answer, at this point, is NEVER! There are just too many things that can go wrong when he’s home ALONE, if he had a sibling, I’d be more apt to consider it!
